The first category presented was “paper,” the lightest and thinnest notebooks designed with remote work in mind. Pypah — from Pypah’s Art on YouTube — presented a computer from the “scissors” category by painting a digital portrait on the Concept D 3 Ezel. The “rock” category showed Acer’s new Enduro line of high-durability work laptops and tablets. Acer also announced the Predator Shot, its own energy drink.

Computers and hardware presented weren’t just in those three categories. Gamers may want to hold off their next big gaming desktop purchase until they can get their hands on the Predator Orion 9000 Bifrost Colossus. With the Predator X25 screen, adaptive light technology that will reduce eye strain, and a gaming chair that comes with speakers in the headrest and massage rollers, gamers will feel especially pampered.
Acer is proud to be the world’s leading supplier of Chromebooks in Q1 of 2020, and the features their paper products will be getting are really a sign of the times. The whole category is aimed at people who work from home, and the touch screens will get an added layer of protection in the form of an antimicrobial coating.
The Concept D 3 showcased in the scissors category boasts a screen on a folding “Ezel” flexible hinge, which allows it to be positioned securely in any angle an artist could need. The whole line is designed to be color-accurate and will definitely be great for creating art.
The whole Enduro line is built for harsh environments, and is military-grade certified and IP65 compliant. That means that it is extremely water-resistant and dustproof. Acer employees John and Brandon had a lot of fun stress-testing the Enduro N3 by dropping it, soaking it, and freezing it.
Acer may not have realized that its Enduro line would meet an unaddressed need for people who have physical limitations. Someone who has sub-optimal control of their hands and arms would be able to use an Enduro T1 or T5 tablet knowing that it is designed to endure being dropped repeatedly and can handle being spilled on.
